Text 1 : invitation to join the test[edit]
Hello
We are seeking your support to test a new exciting feature on the ISA Tool.
The original ISA Tool is a multilingual, mobile-first 'microcontributions' tool, that makes it easy for (groups of inexperienced) people to add structured data to images on Wikimedia Commons (depicts and captions).
What we are trying to do is to improve ISA to do semi-automatic tagging of images on Wikimedia Commons, with recommendations proposed to the users, to infirm or confirm. We want to put the new tool version to a test, in order to explore and document its strengths and weaknesses and to make recommendations regarding its use and further development (on ISA Tool and beyond). Our project is related to Computer-aided tagging, which seeks to assist community members in identifying and labeling depicts statements for Commons files.
Read more about the project here : Commons:ISA Tool/Image to Concept
We are looking for volunteer beta-testers to
- first round, provide feedback on the look, feel, and usability of the tool
- next rounds, also provide feedback on the relevance of the semi-automated propositions made by the tool
Your help would be very appreciated. We are planning two or three rounds of testing, where we ask that you try the tool and report any issues or provide comment on the talk page. We will inform you when the test will start (in Octobre 2022). If you are willing to give a little bit of your time, please sign-up by adding your name here.
Thanks for your help !
